Terms
Short, because there is not much to say. Using AskAround means agreeing to these.
What this is
A directory and introduction service for invited communities. It is provided as it stands, without a guarantee that it will always be available or that anyone will reply to you.
Your account
You sign in with your own email address, and the link that arrives is yours alone — do not pass it on. Keep what you publish about yourself accurate; other members will act on it.
Other people's details
What members share here, they shared with their community — not with the world. Do not copy it out, scrape it, add it to a mailing list, or pass it to anyone outside the community. Do not use it to sell anything to somebody who did not ask.
Contact members about the sort of thing this exists for, and accept no as an answer the first time.
Meetings and gifts
Publishing your available times is an offer, not an obligation, and you may decline any request without giving a reason. Once a meeting is confirmed, the calendar invite carries each participant's name and email address to the others on it — that is what makes it a calendar invite. Those details are for that meeting, and not for anything after it. If a gift feature is present, it is voluntary in both directions: nobody is owed one, and nobody is entitled to one for accepting a meeting.
Ending it
You can leave a community or delete your account at any time, from your profile. A community may remove someone who breaks these terms, particularly the part about other people's details.
Liability
AskAround introduces people; it does not vouch for them, check their claims, or take responsibility for what comes of a conversation. Judge for yourself, as you would with any introduction. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Contact
No contact has been configured for this deployment yet. What is held about you, and what you can do about it, is set out in the privacy notice.
